Nathan, this post is so needed by parents to know what is going on with their children's food. I would like to ask permission to re-share it as a guest post on Deep Roots at Home with links back (top and bottom) to your original post here. I would use a different title and url so it won't mess with your SEO. We are in a race to reach more people about these issues as media has so much twisted misinformation and families are so sick. The more that understand these things, the less will buy into what they are told to do. If you prefer me not re-share, I totally understand, however, I am having between 8 and 16K views a day and that would likely send you extra traffic.
I used to work for a veterinarian whose wife had a seizure disorder. She was told not to eat anything with red dyes. Many years later I had a little dog who developed a seizure disorder and they were becoming more and more frequent. When I took her to the vet (same one I had worked for 20 years earlier) he reminded me of that. I eliminated anything with red dye in it - amazing how many pet foods contain it! - and she never had another seizure. So none of this surprises me. EXCEPT that when we think we are eating "natural" foods so many of them have been dyed! THAT was a surprise to me!
